The Storytelling Rome Tours were great. We booked 3. Our guide really made the Stories come to life. Forget Gossip Girl or Bridgerton, here is where you get the real tea ;) We had some other guides from different websites, not half as good. We had a great time with Massimo, who also gives the best advices for restaurants, bars, etc....Making your holiday at Rome really special. Whenever we travel here again, we will make sure to book another Tour and would love to meet again!

Awesome. If my teachers got me this interested in art and history like this tours, i would have probably chosen a different path in life. We got so many cool stories, ancient gossip and on top of that a lot of hints and advices to spots, restaurants and culinarian highlights. Don't miss this on your trip to Rome. We did 3 tours with storytelling Rome and we will book a whole lot more as soon as we return! Thanks a lot!

Empress tour - Massimo, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun & relatable. He was on point, taking us to sights that added context to each story. Highly recommend, especially if you're a fan of I, Claudius. Our only regret was that we didn't have time left in our trip to take additional tours with him.

We had a fantastic tour with Massimo. We had two children (11 and 13) and Massimo was kind enough to check a few times that the tour was suitable - not an easy job given how terrible some of the emperors were! We really enjoyed the pace and the stories were so well told. Very engaging. Highly recommend

Massimo, of Storytelling Tours gives an entertaining, sometimes very sad description of life for women in Rome during the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries. Women became Courtesans or highly paid prostitutes to gain financial security. Kept by men of wealth and influence, often in the Vatican, they were able to own property and have wealth of their own. But also risked STDs and abuse by their patrons. This tour was outstanding, Massimo is a very talented story teller, we were absolutely entranced the entire 3 hours.
