My nephew and I truly enjoyed three different tours during our one week stay in Rome. They were outstanding and made the trip so fun and meaningful. It is delightful to have an expert guide you. We couldn't decide which tour we liked the most. Each was guide was excellent.Booking was easy. I would highly recommend this company.

If you go on this tour, ask for Francesca. Friendly, hospitable, informative and just plain nice. Great tour and one you should not miss. Best tour guide of the trip by far!!!

I had a short two and a half days stay in Rome and did not have much time to prepare for the trip. I splurged and signed up for three Rome Walks tours: the Colosseum, Vatican City and for Art's Sake. All three tours are fantastic. I especially like the Vatican City tour with Francesca and for Art's Sake Tour... More

We joined just one other couple for a terrific tour of this gallery, and when they had to leave early we had the guide to ourselves. Francesca (I think?) was a wonderful guide! She actually told us exactly where to stand and which direction to move when looking at Bernini's Daphne and Apollo, making the experience almost like watching a... More

My father and I did this tour in October 2016. I can't say enough great things about it. Our tour guide (whose name escapes me at the moment) was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and was able to answer any question thrown his way. We had very in depth tours of the Roman Forum and AMAZING access to the Coliseum.... More

Our tour guide was fabulous! Everyone in our family loved him and agreed he made our visit to Rome so meaningful. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared insights about daily Roman life. We truly enjoyed his company. The owner helped us set up a second tour at the last minute and was very accommodating and easy to work with. I... More

The Secret Places and Hidden Spaces Rome Walk was the best tour I took on my 10 day trip to Italy. I've done LOTS of tours and found this one particularly good because Janet is such a good guide. Her knowledge of what she covered, her deep respect for Rome history and culture and her language skills (Janet is American)... More

We took both the VIP WIne Tour and Skip the line Vatican tour - what great guides. The Wine Tour took us to places that the tourist usually doesn't see and the tour guide, Cynthia was so knowledgable about the wine and Rome. Great insights on the types of wine produced in Italy, with a different look at Rome. The... More

We did multiple tours while in Italy and this was by far the very best. Our guide was knowledgeable but didn't lecture. She shared fun facts as well as the information on both architecture and history. Furthermore, our group was small and intimate (6 visitors) which made it a much more personal tour. I looked around at all the 20+... More

We love Rome walks. We've done three tours with them now and loved everyone of them. So much info, history and off the beaten track info on Rome!

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
