Never used Uber Never used it Taxi app or any cab app until now. Have to give thanks to both apps. In seven years since my families last trip to Rome it appears the cab fares have sky rocketed in price. Seven years ago I took cabs with my wife and two young children for 5 euro for such trips as Trevi Fountain to colosseum or Vatican to Pantheon. Now I kept getting some crazy prices of 18, 23 to 27 and most cab drivers saying it's a fixed price. I read about how unhappy the cab union was with the new Uber app and it's driver's as I discovered they should be scared of Uber. The Uber program is a great program and I will use it again for sure in Rome and will recommend it to anyone going to Rome. It's cars and drivers are above reproach and classy like they should be. My family enjoyed the comfort and style of our Uber trips, the price is as comparative to what the Main Taxi companies are charging. Now the app it Taxi, worked great at hailing a cab for us without any issue to how poor my Italian language skills are if I needed to call a cab dispatch line. I chose not to pay with the it Taxi app as it never gave me a rate estimator like Uber nor did the cab driver want to use it, two times the driver wanted to haggle and say it's cheaper to not pay through the app. Again with Uber no haggling no issues, you can put in your destination and get a estimation, it made the trip much smoother. To end I will say use the apps they both have wonderful features and can really help you out in a family trip with situation of kids melting down or even your other travel partners just crashing from to many museums that you keep dragging them to. The prices well they are much higher than seven years ago, at least the posted price for the airports are on the sides of the cabs and there is no questions there. Thank you Rome see you in another seven and let's see how much changes again.

Our visit to Rome this past May was great due in part to the services provided by Taxi Rome Shuttle. We were picked up at the airport on our arrival into Italy and had TRS provide us a night tour of Rome. The tour was great and we got to see the Trevi fountain and Colosseum lit up in addition to a number of other sights that were fantastic. We loved the fact that the same driver provided our transfers between the hotel and the train station for the next two days. He was always on time and one of the most professional drivers we have encountered. Best service ever.

We booked CAB limo for under 30 Euro from airport to downtown Rome. Limo driver Stefan spoke a little English and was courteous and professional throughout our drive. He pointed out some of Romes highlights. As a result, we booked a shuttle to the port and return to airport area after our cruise. Once again CAB were timely and very reasonable priced compared to local taxi. Price from Rome to Port under 70 Euro and could have been cheaper if we had others travelling with us. I would definitely use CAB again.

Booked and confirmed a Night Tour of Rome with this company. They didn't turn up, nor was there any phone call or email to explain why. Luckily I did not pay in advance. Got receptionist in my hotel to phone them but no-one answered. Be very wary of booking with this company.

Great way to get to your hotel quickly from the airport. The driver was friendly and provided us with information about Rome as we were driving.

Great service with a friendly taxi driver. He was waiting when our plane landed & took us to our hotel's door & then picked us up on time to take us back to airport at agreed time. All at a fixed, pre-arranged cost which was very good value compared to others.
Highly recommended.

We were concerned as we had a group of six and needed to be at Termini station very early. Our driver Lucca was on time and provided us with a beautiful vehicle and friendly commentary on our trip to Termini. As promised, he was waiting for us that night for our return trip. We highly recommend this service.

Had the owner ANGELO RINALDI pick us up from the airport to take us to the ship. We were so concerned because there was little time between our flight and our cruise leaving, however we didn't need to worry. Angelo was waiting for us with a sign and our names then promptly took our luggage took us to the car and delivered us to our cruise with no problems such a relief. He didn't speak much english, however he was very polite and professional. I would use the service again with confidence.

Got email the day before to confirm the ride, it came on time, the car was big and clean, the driver/owner was polite and courteous, got to the airport in no time, did not have to pay deposit, pay cash to the driver
