The street now honors John Lennon and Imagine in neon lights all up and down the road. Fun to walk and sing along with each line. A fun street to visit anyway.

Lovely street for strolling and shopping

Via Massimo D'Azeglio is pretty central, near the main square, and it's full of beautiful buildings and nice shops. Even if you don't plan to go there to see Lucio Dalla's house, I would recommend you walk it on your way to wherever you're going.

Enjoying a walk

It's a back street near Basilica di San Petronio and Basilica Patriarcale di San Domenico. It's lined with leather goods shops, boutiques and snack shops, and it's a great place to stroll and enjoy the atmosphere.

It is already the fourth time that I go to Bologna to see the lights with the words of the songs in via D'Azeglio but this year they were not there, the street with very basic lighting, I was very disappointed with this, thank goodness for Bologna it's a fantastic city and therefore it's always a pleasure to visit it ❤️
