With the help of Andrea we booked an individual half day tour of the Ferrari museum plus bus tour of the factory and test track. Our driver, Cosimo, picked us up from our hotel at 9am and drove us to Maranello. As we were a little early we had a look around the Ferrari shop and Cosimo showed us the tribute to Villeneuve and the Ferrari test track etc. We then had our visit to the museum which was great, then Cosimo made sure we got the bus tour which was a bit limited but interesting none the less. We were then dropped back in the centre of Bologna in time for lunch. A fantastic day.

We rode the train in to Bologna from Florence to take this trip. We met our driver at 8:30am sharp outside the train station by Burger King. He seemed to be in a bit of a hurry when we got there. There were 5 people total on the trip which was perfect as the van we were in held 6. All of our travel companions were awesome which made the trip much more enjoyable. We Booked the Yellow Tour which was supposed to be Ferrari, Pagani & Ducati. We had inquired before booking if we could do the purple tour of Ferrari, Lamborghini & Ducati and were told no that Lamborghini was fully booked for the month so we decided to still book anyway and to our surprise we received an email a day before that we were going to Lamborghini instead of Pagani so we were excited. We started the trip @ Ferrari museum only (You have to be a Ferrari owner to tour the factory) which in my opinion the museum was a bit lack luster. We got 1 hour to explore on our own there. After that we headed to Lamborghini and were met in the parking lot by Christina, she was the highlight of the trip for us! She was so knowledgable about Lamborghini and gave us a great Lambo Museum tour approx 45 minutes. We then walked down the street with her and had lunch near by. The lunch was amazing. We had a glass of wine, Italian Cold Cuts, Olive Oil and bread. Then we had two types of pasta, a tiramisu and an espresso for dessert, it was so delicious. We then went back to Lamborghini to do the factory tour, the craftsmanship and factory here were impressive! They make you lock your phones up in a locker before you go in. This took approx 45 minutes. Then it was back in the van to the Ducati Museum and the factory tour, this was also very good we spent about an hour and a half here. We got back to the train station @ 5:30pm, that was after dropping off the others at two hotels. All and All this is a pricey trip, and you could do it much cheaper on your own if you had a car, however you would not have had our wonderful guide Christina and you would have needed to book your tours well in advance as this company has spots reserved already since they sell out fast. Plus we got a fantastic lunch, so if you love cars and bikes this is a must if your in the Florence or Bologna Area. The tour is 5 stars, but 4 stars for the price which I think could be a bit cheaper maybe $200-$225 a person.

Our guide, Cosimo, made this a perfect day. Our tours at Maserati, Ferrari, and Lamborghini were well organized - along with one of the best meals we have had on our trip. The details and driving were taken care of and all we had to do was relax and enjoy the day. We highly recommend MotorStars as they will customize the perfect trip for you.

My wife, two sons and I had an incredible day with Cossimo and Christina touring Lamborghini, Pagani and Ferrari. Right from the pick-up by Cossimo around the corner from our AirBnB in Bologna, the experience was first class. Christina's knowledge and passion for Lamborghini brought incredible insights on Sant'Agata and Ferruccio Lamborghini's company as well as its cars. The pace and planning of the day was perfect, and the restaurant meal was exquisite. We were even treated to a tasting of the region's parmagiana and "black gold" balsamic! We would strongly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the motor valley who has an interest in cars!

It was absolutely perfect from begging till the end we started with Ferrari driving experience in our case GTC4 Lusso V12 after Ferrari museum & bus factory tour. Delicious lunch full of Italien specials. We finished with Lamborghini museum and we were able to also book the visit of the Lamborghini factory assembly line.

I came here to do the tours of the cars and it really blew my mind! The tour was well organized but a little rushed around lunch time. It's a long day and if you can afford it, opt for the factory tours. For the factory tours, you will not be allowed to use your phones, take pic or videos, but that's ok you get to witness the masterpieces being made, it's truly phenomenal! Pagani, Lamborghini, Ferrari were the three I chose to go for and I did the two factory tours for Lambo and Ferrari - Pagani you get see the everything at the place and if you are lucky, Pagani himself!
Even without the factory tours, you still see see the amazing supercars through their eras where you can take pics and videos so still worth it. There are merchandise shops in each of the tours, but please of you are buying items check them in the boxes and try pens to ensure they work...I can back to the UK with Ferrari carbon fiber pens that did not work :(. Overall it's such a wonderful day for car lovers! They also do Ducati tour, but I am not a biker but worth knowing that there is an option there.

We visited the Ferrari and Lamborghini museums, the Enzo Ferrari museum and did the F1 virtual test drive experience. It was a great way to spend our day and out guide was great and very informative! The 4-course lunch was delicious and accommodating (we’re vegetarian). I would highly recommend this tour!

My son and I had a wonderful time on our tour. All of the arrangements were made for us, the trip between sites include regional information and points of interest and the provided lunch was a a great local restaurant that featured terrific regional dishes. The staff was courteous and accommodating. Italy was experiencing a heat wave so cold water and fresh fruit were provided by the staff throughout the day.

Every moment was exhilarating! This was set up by my wife for part of our honeymoon trip to Italy. This car tour was the last experience of Italy, the day before we left. We stayed right in Sant' Agata Bolognese, the home of Lamborghini. Literally several walkable blocks from the factory & museum. Our driver Cosimo, picked us up right at our apartment & met up with Cristina, our museum guide. They were both full of energy, excited for us, and have a wealth of knowledge about the cars, the culture & local geography. Cristina is a previous 20+ year employee of Lamborghini and she knows her stuff! Cosimo was with us all day & made things happen for us, from the time scheduling to exacting prompt, first class service for our tours as well as our all star 4 course lunch at a very nice Modenese restaurant. They were unable to accommodate my wife for the Lamborghini factory tour due to Lamborghini's restrictions on capacity that day. But Cosimo & Cristina did not hesitate to make sure my wife was well taken of for that hour. They personally took our for snacks & drinks, information tour movies & local sight seeing. They even provided her with a special local gift as a token of our honeymoon experience. To Cosimo, Cristina, Giacomo and all of the Motor Stars Car tour, thank you so very much for making a wonderful lasting memory for our trip to Italy!

We took the purple tour which toured the Ferrari museum, the Lamborghini factory, the Lamborghini museum, the Ducati factory, and the Ducati museum. It was great. Honestly, if we tried to do these on our own, outside of a tour, I don’t think it could have been done. Especially the Ducati and Lamborghini factories since there was no parking nearby. Cosmo, our driver, picked us up on time at the train station at Bologna. At all the destinations we were dropped off at the destinations and given plenty of time to do the factory tour and the adjacent museums. Could not have gone better. We went on a weekday, so the factories were in operation which was great! We also had lunch at an excellent Italian restaurant with wine included. The meal was delicious. After the tour, we were taken back to the Bologna train station for our trip back to Florence. This trip was a highlight for us on our trip to the Florence area.

I emailed them. They responded quickly. In English. There is a 5 hour time difference. But I had a response the next morning.

Are you a ferrari owner? The website said that only ferrari owners could see the cars being made from the inside. Did you see them being made from the inside? Or Lamborghini?

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I am not a Ferrari owner so the Ferrari factory tour is only a bus tour where we got to drive into the factory compound but was restricted to the outside of the factory buildings. The Lamborghini tour was a guided walking tour through the factory and we got to see specifically the engine assembly area, the seats assembly and the Aventador assembly area. In the same building is the Huracan assembly area but we bypassed it. What the tour did not include was the carbon fibre manufacturing areas. Hope this helps.

My friend booked the trip for our husbands before we went away. She knew that they wanted to go to the motor factories and found the Motorstars site. We paid in full before we we went but it was so worthwhile and they are so professional but obliging. The next time we go to Bologna I think I will go too.
