Great exhibits though perhaps children may find it all a bit scary. The detail and workmanship of the wax models were amazing. I highly recommend (its free too!).

The healthcare we get today is directly related to the investigations which educated the first scientists. What they discovered they recorded in books, pictures and wax models which are right here in this museum. They found the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone...More

It's safe to say that the Anatomical Museum is not heavily signposted. Even when you get to the building at 48 Via Irnerio, you won't find a sign. However, go in, find your way upstairs, and discover a wonderful range of nineteenth century teaching aids...More

If you're not that into diseases, pustules, malformations and the grotesque, you should definitely stay away.
