Went on Friday noon. Loads of stalls, about half selling clothes, most used. Perfect bargain hunting. Follow shops up north and into the park.
Huge Friday and Saturday market which fills the square. Very cheap stalls selling items for 50 cents and €1, full of people rummaging. Other stalls as well selling end of line items, etc. Avoid if you don't like lots of people in confined spaces! Locals...More
We were looking for a food market - which this is not (on a February Saturday). Possibly some good clothes in there somewhere - it is a very big space.
From Friday morning to Saturday evening, hundreds of stalls. Many leaders used, many in very good condition. Many stalls with extravagant clothes. Many stalls of merchandise in stock.
This area is worth a wander anyway but the market is huge so great if you're into such things. It's very much a local market but would satisfy travellers too with ponchos, belts and wallets, bags and scarves. Across the road is just one street...More
You wont find handmade stuff, and Poloshirt for 10euro is fake offcourse. I just walked right trew the marked - since i didn't bring a girlfriend😉
