Really nice place to have a good lunch/dinner....or just to hang out with some nice wine. Amazing panini, focaccia, tasty local wine, and smiling staff! Everything you might need is directly here :-)

I make sure to visit the local market whenever I go to a new city. It tells you the way the locals live, cook and eat. Mercato delle Erbe is a small but very nicely displayed market. You can also buy veggies, cheese and other...More

Great traditional food market just a few minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. Fantastic array of fruit and veg as well as local wine on tap, balsamic vinegar etc. Good selection of small ‘open’ shop units surround the central area serving speciality foods, wine etc. You...More

Right smack in the center of Bologna, El Mercato de Erbe is a great meeting point for Friends & Families alike. With a great variety of restaurants to choose from, one can enjoy Bologna’s traditional food & drinks.

You can get everything you need here, produce, cheese, meats, bread, wine. If you are self-catering in Bologna I highly recommend this market.

With market stalls selling everything from hams and cheeses through to fish and oils and everything in between, this is great spot to appreciate Bologna and it's culinary heritage. There's also a small but beautiful food court selling pizza and salads etc.
