Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just a fantastic way to spend half a day in Parma. Great to learn more about the iconic products of this area. Davide is a wonderful guide. Friendly. Professional. We are both mid-60s and not regular bike-riders but found the e-bikes a very easy way to undertake the 25km round journey.
And price-wise when compared with other similar tours in the area, we thought it to be good value for money.
Highly recommend.

Easy to book and find, right near the central station. Bikes were in good working order. David is friendly, good English and interesting to chat to about life in Italy. The cycle to the Parmaggiano factory is flat, the first half is not particularly exciting as it's getting out of the city, but the vista in the countryside changes. Great to see how Parmiggiano is made and all the labor and care that goes into the production. After returning back into Parma, nice little cylce through the town and then a delicious snack at a high quality Salumaria Delicatessan..... don't forget to order a Lambrusco with your cold cuts as they go really well together.

We did a bike tour with Davide and it was wonderful! We booked the Two Excellences of Emilia Region and went to taste Parmigiano Reggiano and Balsamic Vinegar. Davide also took us to a fabulous restaurant for lunch. Davide had excellent knowledge to share with us during the tour and the setting was beautiful. It was a long ride but I would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys active site seeing.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Davide very much! The bike ride was enjoyable and a nice length. Davide was always looking out for the safety of the group. The visit to the Parmigiano Reggiano factory was so informative. Davide did a great job explaining everything and answering everyone's questions. The cheese tasting was, of course, lovely and we were happy to buy some Parmigiano right at the factory. Davide also shared some history as we rode into Parma and had lunch at a nice little cafe. I highly recommend this tour with Davide!

I do not have enough good things to say about this experience. Davide is absolutely excellent. Not only was the bike ride through Parma city and countryside relaxing and fun (one of the highlights of my life!), but Davide’s knowledge about the region, and Parmigiano Reggiano in particular was outstanding. Our tour of the cheese factory was interesting and delicious, and our stop for lunch later on was equally lovely. If you are worried about the difficulty of the bike ride, fear not! Bike ride is not strenuous, the region is very flat. Davide is the best!!!

I can't say enough about this experience. Davide is a great host and has a very in-depth knowledge of the cheese making process. The morning tour gets to see the cheese making in action, and I would highly recommend doing this one. Great value for the 4 to 5 hours of the tour. Moderate fitness level required as will ride over 20 kms, but relatively flat paths.

In spite of the rain, we really enjoyed our ride from within the city to the outskirts of the city (and back). Our tour of the Parmesan cheese facility was excellent, and was very informative given the considerable knowledge of our guide Davido. A highlight was tasting cheese that had been age for three different durations, 12, 24, and 36 months. Lunch after the ride was delicious, and was taken in a comfortable and inviting Cafe. My wife and I highly recommend this tour!

Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) had a wonderful day touring around the Parma region with Davide. He is so warm and knowledgable, and both informative while being unobtrusive, all while letting you experience your surroundings. We visited a small Parmigiano-Reggiano producer and got to see the process from start to finish, up close and personal. We tasted 3 different vintages of cheese to really see what the aging process does to the flavors. We also visited a farm where Davide personally made cured meats with the owners, and had a wonderful lunch, getting to taste many of the meats produced on site, and using all local ingredients for the other delicious components of the meal. The e-bikes that were provided were the perfect way to see the countryside and get between each location, and were easy enough for the oldest and youngest in our group. Do not hesitate to book a tour with this group - it was such a wonderful way to see this area!
