This is a war memorial and archery range combined. It's well kept and an interesting start to the tour of the city.

Such an interesting tradition of the country, these Balestrieris! They have such a great sport here. Visitors can stroll around and look down onto the action. A formidable experience.

Right after you enter the old town san marino you can find it when you turn left. Very nice area, some places to sit and rekax and than to see the very interesting wall.

Great historical wall where croossbow shooters exercise themselves. You can also see youngsters learning how to shoot but also to throw the national flag in the air.

You probably cannot miss this big wall and area close to the entry of San Marino. Not the very best highlight but an interesting start into the city.

you will pass this by as you are walking up towards other piazzas. from time to time, there will be 'shows' here of bow and arrows and flag throwers. view is beautiful from here!

You'll likely walk right by this on the way up to the town, so linger a bit and enjoy. Trees are a welcome comfort.
