If you know the song it once crashed into a house. More recently the one going up crashed into the one coming down. I am assured that it will all be fixed for the Barcolana in October. I am not so sure.
Sadly the tram broke down about a year ago and it does not look like it will ever be put back into service - some of the lines appear to have been concreted over.

Not many towns in Italy (and around the world) have a piece of their (transportation) history so well preserved and accessible to the public. If you are a fan of this type of attraction, you should definitely visit.
