Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For those who wrote bad reviews a few years back due to the limited opening hours, I have good news! When I visited it on June 22nd, 2019, Saturday, I saw the sign at the entrance showing it is open from 10 to 17, Thursday through Sunday.

Now the bad news. For the 1+ hours I was there, no one else was there - not even the staff! Further, all exhibits are in Italian. Thus, I have no ideas what I was seeing.

It seems to me that the museum is running on a tight budget. If this is the case, it is really sad. From reading others' comments, I realize this is a museum for an Italian national hero.

My suggestion is whoever runs this museum should contact the local university to make it an extra credit project to translate the exhibits from Italian to English. Many students would do it for free since they get credits. You don't even have to spend money! If this were a museum for my national hero, I would want the whole world to learn about him and what he has done! I hope the Italian state feels the same way.
