It's 700+ meters away from the brignole train station. It is a beautiful place at night stime as you can see the lights and the beauty of the fountain. Expect that in the morning is a lot of people as this is the main street of the place.

Genoa was a stop over while on a cruse. We walked through the narrow streets and just enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the city.

Piazza De Ferrari is the main square of Genoa. Situated in the heart of the city between the historical and the modern center, Piazza De Ferrari is renowned for its fountain.

Following a cruise excursion we landed in Genoa to visit the city. It's a shame that the bad weather didn't allow us to fully enjoy this beautiful square. The bustling center of the city, Piazza De Ferrari represents a meeting place for the Genoese and the starting point for many city events.
In the center stands the large bronze fountain, the work of the architect Cesare Crosa di Vergagni, who had it built in 1936. Its perimeter is instead delineated by prominent buildings such as the Palazzo Ducale, the Palazzo della Regione Liguria, the Palazzo della Nuova Borsa , the Carlo Felice Theater and the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts.
A visit is recommended.

Always the symbolic square and heart of the city. It is the main meeting place for events of all kinds. It assumed its current appearance in the early 1900s, in harmony with the buildings of the first half of the 1800s that occupied the then Piazza San Domenico. The location of the large bronze fountain dates back to 1936 and was renovated with some changes in the water features in the 1990s. The square is overlooked by historic buildings used over time to house institutions such as the Liguria Region, the Linguistic Academy of Fine Arts and the Stock Exchange. There are also the side facade of the Doge's Palace and the Carlo Felice Theatre.

Piazza de Ferraris, in Genoa, is a wide-ranging square...impressive and at the same time welcoming: a living room in the middle of the city. The fountain with its jets gives liveliness and movement and attracts the attention of passers-by! Worth a visit!!!!!

Hub of the city. Beautiful fountain illuminated in the evening and with a play of colors allows the Pizza to shine even more. Beautiful view, Doge's Palace, Carlo Felice Theatre, Via XX that winds in front of her

This is one of the fun free things to do if you don’t mind a walk and taking in some of the local historical sites. We walked from the station past the fountain then a spot of lunch at Rosmarinio then down to the harbour where we sat outside of 752 restaurant and had drinks and snacks on the sea front. Perfect day 👌🏾

Impressive square, the city center, with the fountain and building - landmarks (opera, district building, old stock exchange, Palazzo Ducale). From here begins the most beautiful and lively avenue of the city (XX Settembre) and behind it stretches the old, medieval city. Live day and night!

The square is the result of subsequent interventions between the beginning and end of the 19th century which partly changed the face of the center of Genoa. Despite the buildings built in different styles, everything presents a tone of sober elegance. When you go down into the underpass (which also serves as a connection to the metro station) the view changes completely, and from admiration for the harmony of the square you abandon yourself to the discouragement of an underground connection abandoned to decay

This fountain is located in a large pedestrian area just off a busy road. Really nice for photos and close to lots of shops. There is even an insta "GENOA" to take your photos beside.
Nearby are a couple of churches. Nice area to take a break in a busy day
