Well, well, this is a classic among Genoese people, but a truly amazing place for anyone loving the sea and the colors of Riviera. You can wander with your girlfriend, walk, run or take your time and stare at the sea. It may either be extremely relaxing, under the warmth of spring sun, or tough and exciting, when the wind... Beatiful little town with peaceful and quite boardwalk from which you can see the sea and the colorful houses of Nervi. Perfect place to spend the afternoon.

Nervi is a suburb of Genoa, not so far from the city center, but far enough to get the feeling of the beach life instead of the city life. You can get wonderful views on the sea and on Nervi from here, above all on sunny days.

Genova is beautiful, really charming, but very few Italians know it. Among thousand things to do, if you've only a day, let's take an hour for a passeggiata here. It is a must.

The promenade Anita Garibaldi carved on the cliff of Nervi, running along the top of the rocky seashore, is one of Italy’s most beautiful walkways. Its southern exposure and the protection of the mountains at its back make it really warm in winter. For part of its length, which is about two kilometres, it borders Nervi parks, to which it... You can get to Passeggiata by taxi, bus or train because parking is difficult. You can walk along the sea eating your tasty ice cream or making conversation with your friends,couples,... nice view above all during sunny days.

Parking is difficult. If you can travel by train: the small "Nervi" station is just 50m from the start of the walk.

You can catch a train from either Genova's main station (Piazza Principe) or the second largest station (Genova Brignole) to Nervi. The cost is 1.60 Euros one way per person and the journey takes approx. 25 minutes, in which the train goes along the shore. Once in Nervi, the walk is literally outside of the station and one can either... More

Nice and long pathway to walk after Nervi railway station between nice gardens and the sea front, dramatic views, rocky formations typically of the Ligurian riviera, some places to eat and or swim, some parts under recostruction so there are deviations...
