There is a very unfriendly driver. You live from the tourists! Think about. I recommend a personal change.

Over the years this must be the third time we have done this trip. The views over Bergamo are wonderful. The park in San Vigilio is not as well kept as once it was but Italy has suffered financially as well as many other countries...More

Very useful transport up to the beautiful San Vigilio. Great eating places with views at top of funicular. Also walk on another 400 m and there is a nice outdoor cafe with fabulous views. Prompt and efficient service.

A nice way to travel. Did queue for a short while but it was well worth it. Views are good. Regular times until late and reasonably priced so well worth it.

Go up and enjoy views and mist of a winter day....church nearby and the about a mile hike up to village and the Volta Lighthouse. Steep climb but worth the views. And beware of snow and ice as you get up towards it.

Short, fun trip up to San Vigilio. Amazing views from the top. Interesting to walk around the castle grounds. Remember to have coins to buy the tickets to the funicular as the ticket machine only accepts coins. Alternatively one can buy tickets from the newsagent...More
