The belltower is an incredible centerpiece of the city of Cremona. It is deftinitely worth the climb. The view from the belltower is expansive and incredible. It is a masterpiece of construction and the tallest belltower I believe in northern Italy.

I was awed by the beauty of the Cathedral and the bell tower right next to it. The Torrazzo is the second tallest in Italy at 112m and the third tallest brickwork bell tower in the world (yet older than the other two). The Duomo,...More

Piazza del Duomo definitely deserves a visit with the Duomo, Torrazzo and Baptistery to one side of the square and the city’s Palazzo Comunale on the opposite side. The Torrazzo is the tallest brick church steeple in Europe and can be climbed all the way...More

We wandered through the church at 6.45. No hassle at all compared to the frenzy of Milan. Really chilled. Really quiet. Nice place to contemplate.
