Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited the cave in August - I thought it would be busier but it’s very quiet. A lovely drive up to the cave up Ledenika mountain, a shame to see the little stalls and shops around the entrance are closed. We joined the tour, unfortunately there isn’t one in English - would be a nice addition even if it was with a pre-recorded headset maybe. The staff couldn’t speak English but we managed. The tour cost 10leva each. It takes place every hour so you might need to wait a bit depending what time you arrive. The tour guide will take your photo in the cave for you as well. The cave is very cold - make sure you bring a jacket! It is down a long flight of stairs, with a few narrow and low ceiling parts. If you aren’t fit/able bodied the experience is cut short as you can’t go fully into the whole cave and need to stay in the open main part. Good overall!

the cave is interesting, but I really liked it outside. Extremely suitable for people with animals because of the wide space. There are also wild horses in the area, which are extremely accustomed to the godfather human presence and are very calm.

Strongly recommend to anyone who seeks adventure! Beautiful sights!

Do note that it is not suitable for people suffering claustrophobia as there are several quite cramped paths where you almost have to crawl to get through.

Do wear good walking shoes as it can be really slippery underground and be prepared for very low passage ways. The cave area is composed of an abundance of galleries and Karst formations including stalactite and stalagmites. Because the caves are so large I did not feel claustrophobic. The stalactite and stalagmites are very different from the crystal ones that I had seen previously elsewhere as they are hardened limestone and a darker colour. The use of lighting to highlight features was good.

We went with my Southwestern friends after a teambuilding. The entrance was poorly designed, but on the inside the cave is spectacular.
I liked the steep ladders and the elements that were lighted up, with the different faces and figures forms by the rocks.

Although the road to the cave is not in best condition this cave is amazing. They have built inside a laser show room.
