My mom and I took the fresh pasta cooking lesson with Chef Luigi and it exceeded all expectations. He personally picked us up from our hotel and drove us to his restaurant where we met a few other couples. We started the day with cappuccino and conversation then wandered out back to the garden, just gorgeous! We picked fresh herbs... More

Chef Luigi picked us up on time from our hotel in Bellagio. He is a careful driver and soon we were at his family restaurant. We enjoyed a cappuccino and then walked outside to see his herb garden where he picked zucchini flowers to use in our lunch. Then we put on our aprons, has some water and began make... More

My wife and two 6-year old daughters signed up for the class. I signed up not expecting to enjoy it as much. However, Chef Luigi was incredibly helpful with my daughters and it was one of the highlights of their time in Bellagio. They were very proud to receive their 'diplomas'. The Lunch was excellent (though I think Chef Luigi's... More

As part of our Gardens of the Italian Lakes Tour, we arranged a private cooking lesson with Chef Luigi. He very kindly picked us up from our hotel in Bellagio and transported us up into the hills where his family restaurant is situated in a picturesque village setting. We spent some time with Chef Luigi's mother in the herb garden... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our half day with Chef Luigi and our classmates (a very nice young couple on their honeymoon from the UK). As novices to Italian cooking, we learned a little about Chef's Lake Como cuisine and his passion for everything. This lesson is some participation and some demonstration. The result is a terrific lunch at... More

Luigi was fabulous; we went there as a family of 5, 2 16 y/o and a 5 year old and had a great morning with private cooking lessons. It was fun and Luigi and his family were great hosts with both Mum and Nanna involved. You can't beat making pasta, everyone gets involved and has a lot of fun. Lovely... More

Reading the great reviews on trip advisor my family and I decided to book private cooking lesson with Chef Luigi Gandola. It started off very well with Chef Luigi coming to pick us up from our hotel, showing us around his garden, us making/rolling the dough for pasta but from then on we might as well be watching Chef Luigi... We took a class with Luigi Gandola of Salice Blue Ristorante in Bellagio, Italy. The experience started with a tour of the restaurant and gardens. Next we went into the kitchen learn about the pastas. We had a wonderful lunch of gnocchi, ravioli, and amazing citrus salad and Bolognese. We were staying in Chernobbio and took the fast ferry from... More

We were recommended this cooking experience with Chief Luigi Grandola at his restaurant in Bellagio. He picked us up from the bus as we were staying in Como. A quick 10 min drive and we were having coffee and getting ready with apron on to start our course. Chief Luigi walked us through his herb garden explaining with passion his... More

I have done this cooking class twice , the chef is on TV cooking shows a bit like the Jamie Oliver for Italy , he is funny and very informative . A definite must do when visiting Bellagio .well worth the money and you get to eat the food as they serve you afterwards with wine .
