    BEST DAY OUT
Grandson aged 9 and Gran did the chocolate making and both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very well explained by staff who were very friendly and helpful. Did the first session which left him loads of time to enjoy the rest of the facilities for hours, both indoor and outdoor. The restaurant/cafe was super (check out the daily specials ! ) , very quick service and food was excellent. Not bad priced either and generous portions. We actually returned for a second day just to use the indoor/outdoor facilities for our grandson and was money well spent. Would definately recommend

    Great Day Out
Would highly recommend for a family day out. The family chocolate workshop was great fun, we made lots, ate lots and it was so well organised and well presented for our age group (age 5 and 8). The outdoor play area is amazing, great twisty slides and a fun maze, pirate ship and castle. The indoor soft play is also great. Aside from the chocolate being delicious, the food in the cafe was excellent, and fresh (best chips, and best cheese and pickle toastie I've had for a very long time). Very good coffee too. And the chocolates in the shop looked incredible. Every single member of staff we spoke to was absolutely lovely, and helpful. Definitely worth a visit, and definitely do the chocolate workshop! We spent 4 hours there, the kids were very well entertained. Thanks for a fab day out.

Absolutely brilliant. If you like chocolate, go here. My little one bloody loved panning for gold outside -- he was at it for hours. Completely forgot we were in a chocolate factory, he usually goes mental for a Cadbury's. Had him do that egg making challenge. Wrote his name out, proper nice. Even let him stuff their eggs full of sweets and snacks and stuff, actually really nice. Best part is they let us keep the mould so if the missus ever wants to make another one she can. Lovely day out, recommend it.

    Amazing tasty day out
Wow what a find! This place is amazing. We arrived at 10am for our chocolate workshop. Although you can pay to use just the play area and soft play but we thought the workshop was fantastic. We chose the accessible one as our little ones are 2 and 5 (we weren’t sure how she’d be in the children’s workshop by herself). The workshop was brilliant. They made three items each, got to eat the chocolate and sweets as they went and Becky who was running our workshop was brilliant with them too. The workshop was about 30 minutes which was a good length of time to keep their attention and it left us plenty of time to play in the brilliant soft play. This was quite exciting as it snakes around at the top which our eldest loved. Then we explored outside and wow best playground we’ve been too in a very long time. The girls loved it. The pirate ship and castle had lots of different things to do on it. Climbing, sliding, role play, exploring we could have stayed for much longer had we not been on our way home from our holiday. Although we didn’t eat in the cafe (we ate our picnic outside in the designated area), the food being brought out looked and smelt delicious as did the many cakes and ice cream available. The gift shop was reasonably priced and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and asked how our day was going. Good clean facilities! I wish we lived closer so we could visit more regularly! We left about 1ish but could have happily stayed and played for much longer. We’ve just got home and I’ve sampled the chocolate I brought from the gift shop (a bag of factory seconds) which were delicious. Superb day out, well worth the money.

Absolutely fab day for all ages
What an absolutely fab day we had here. We booked as a family , 6 adults and 3 kids. We paid a bit extra for the pumpkin patch and it was worth every penny. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been friendlier. Our kids had a ball in the pumpkin patch and also in the marquee carving and decorating their pumpkins. The older adults sat in the cafe and had cake and hot chocolate. We joined them later for a lovely lunch. The kids then had a ball in the soft play and the outdoor play park All for £15 per child.......total bargain. Cocoabean is set in beautiful grounds, lots of photo opportunities and fantastic countryside. Would totally recommend 😀

    Great fun and fantastic chocolate!
An excellent place to entertain the family for a few hours. The chocolate workshop was great fun which a good amount of chocolate to walk away with. Good indoor soft play - outdoor area looked really good but the weather had other ideas. The cafe was very good too with a good effort beyond what you’d normally expect from an attraction. All staff were really friendly. The quality of the chocolate is really good!

    Surprise find!
Attended with my 7 year old son, who went on the children's workshop. He really enjoyed it, the lady leading the group is clearly one of those people who enjoys working with children and they all seemed to really enjoy it. The indoor soft play was a bit young for my son, but the outdoor play was great. If the weather had been better could have stopped a lot longer. Gift shop was great, and not too overpriced. All of the staff were lovely and attentive and the place was very clean.

Booked little one on the 'Beanie Tots' chocolate workshop.
Easy to locate and park, once inside we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who explained where to wait. The member of staff running the workshop was very patient and enthusiastic with the children. He really enjoyed himself and was proud of his chocolate creation.
Afterwards he went to explore the soft play whilst we had a drink in the cafe, drinks were good, hot chocolate unsurprisingly was delicious. The soft play was great and much bigger than it first looks.
We then went to look outside and the outdoor play area was even better. Didn't think we'd ever got little one off it.
Finished the visit with a rather yummy ice cream!
We all had a great time and good value for money.
