The area
Neighbourhood: Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Most of Milano's main streets like Corso Venezia deserve having at least a little bit of walking to experience both watching the buildings/architecture and also a good shopping potential.

This is a very busy street with numerous shops, especially hi-end brands.
We found the street too noisy for comfort and did not enjoy the short stroll in it too much.

In a city known for fashion. Corso Venezia is part of the city's Quadrilatero della moda shopping district.
We found elegant buildings and upmarket brands with high prices.
The street runs all the way to Corso Buenos Aires which is also known for its shopping.

It is perhaps the most beautiful and famous street in Milan. You can't miss a ride on the same street if you're in Milan history meets the reality of today. Everything is superlative

Corso Venezia is one of the city's most exclusive and elegant avenues, being part of the city's upscale fashion district Quadrilatero. You will find great buildings from the Renaissance, Baroque and parks and gardens.

This street connects Porta Venezia and city centre, it is quite long, but with wide sidewalk and thus a ok place for a stroll.
However, there are not enough restaurants, shops or similar things, so it's not a shame if you cover it by public transport and save your energy for anything else.

This street starts at the Basilica San Babila and runs next to the Quadrilatero della Moda shopping district. I has many shops a lot of whch are high end and there are always a lot of people walking in the street. Buildings along the street are quite nice and cover a variety of architectural styles. It connects into Corso Buenes Aires where the shopping continues.

It's good to walk down this street as there are some great roads off it with some lovely buildings right along the street some of the buildings have colossal entrance doors which lead to stunning courtyards . Some great shops and bars along the way

Corso Venezia or the extension of Via Vittorio Emanuele II after walking through Piazza San Babila.
Here the shops continue to revive this road already far more busy than other nearby roads. Frankly it is not my favorite but often during my stay in Milan the walk is pleasant stretch to Corso Venezia, there are many other interesting shops as well. A visit here is due.
