Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Church of San Cristoforo in Milan enchants with its austere air and its thousand-year history. it is located along the Naviglio Grande, inside, medieval frescoes and religious works of art create an atmosphere of spirituality, simple in its architectural details, a jewel of Milan. A fascinating place to definitely visit.

Church with a confused history. There were originally 2 churches, but in 1625 the wall between the churches was demolished and the current church was created. The tower was added in the 16th century. There are fine frescoes in the church. A 14th century wooden statue depicting Saint Christopher and the baby Jesus.

Arriving in Milano from Ticino and Naviglio Grande , during centuries, the bell tower of this church was the “lighthouse without light “ for pilgrims, travelers and boatmen.
The church is made up by two little churches connected
The ancient one is the left one built in 1176 , the second one was built in the 15th century by Duke Gian Galeazzo Visconti and it’s called the Duke Chapel
Beautiful the facades and the two internal naves, both decorated by amazing frescoes

Chiesa di San Cristoforo sul Naviglio is a small historical church oozing with charm & character. It comprises on two churches side by side with a mixture of Romanesque & Gothic Architecture.
The church is located on Naviglio Grande which is on the canal waterfront. Just a few doors down from Café Brellin.
The Navigli district is a fabulous Bohemian suburb with boutiques, bookshops, restaurants, cafes & bars. A wonderful place to stroll around to enjoy people watching, eating gelatos' or dropping into one of the waterfront canal bars for tasting the aperitivo buffets or having a local beer in the early evenings.
There are plenty of boat tours available located on the canal frontage Alzaia Naviglio Grande. The canals were used in the medieval days to transport goods & are a huge part of Milan's heritage.

San Cristoforo is one of the ancient church in Milan. It is located on the "Naviglio Grande", the old channel used in the past as a transportation way to reach the city center. I don't know what the future will bring, but every time I will have the occasion to stand in front of San Cristoforo I will be grateful to God: it means I will be back home.

If you go anywhere near Milano Cadorna, you should use an hour of time and visit this really old and original church! Around you can also find nice places to eat (just next to the canal).

A small. ancient church beautifully located on the north bank of Naviglio Grande. After visiting it, you may well enjoy going to one of the many bars, pubs and restaurants just across the canal.

Even you don't see the sun how it sink, you see the lights and enjoy the sunset with your drinks. There are so many bars and rest., crowded, so you should go an hour before the sunset to find a place to sit. Otherwise bring your drinks and walk over the bridges.

Sí, sí que las hay. Yo estuve en agosto sobre las 12.30 por la zona, y cuando entramos a la iglesia había misa. No sé los horarios de las mismas, sería cuestión de pasarse por la zona y preguntar a los vecinos.
