I had a wonderful guided tour (that time in Italian). Great place to visit and immerse into Modern Chic and overwhelming work of the most popular interior designers and architects of the epoch. A first aristocratic house in Milan that had swimming pool at the time.

Great find. Interesting architectural villa inside the city. A survivor from the 20th century. Many unique features. Art Deco. Wonderful use of wood. Small but attractive grounds. Tour takes about an hour and we had a very interesting English speaking guide.

Definitely worth the visit as not only the building is impressive but also the area of the city, just outside the city centre, is extremely interesting from the architectural point of view. The villa is a superb example of Italian style of the thirties and large part of the original furniture are there, the proportions of the spaces are impressive... More

An elegant villa in Moderne style, built in the 1930s with every creature comfort, including Italy's first outdoor heated swimming pool, and enough central heating to satisfy 21st century tastes. The architect included ingenious details - huge sliding doors that could make the house open plan or close it off into more intimate spaces, luxurious bathrooms lined in marble or... More

Was lured there having seen the film I AM LOVE. Didn't want to wait for the English language tour so went with an Italian speaking group which was fine. Some great woodwork and nice gardens.

Definitely worth a look. A gem of an architectural piece of the mid 1930s. Stylish cafe. Tour in English by an exceedingly interesting guide.

If you are in downtown Milan and you have spare time don't miss the villa necchi. If you are passionate of architecture it is a real gem with a very nice garden all around. An amazing paintings collection inside and several extraordinary art objects. Managed by FAI, you can only visit the villa inside with a tour guide. Strongly recommended... More

This house was build by two sisters in the 1930's. The architect was ahead of his time with his design and beautiful finishes. Well worth going to see the Metro line is a couple blocks away.

This was a nice thing to do to take us away from the hussle and bustle of the city centre, the architecture and history is really interesting and the tour guides knowledgeable and friendly. There is a lovely little café to enjoy food and drinks in too. However, each group is assigned an additional chaperone who's sole purpose seems to... More

Lovely house. The owners were more than rich... I had to pay three euro to take picture. Nice place indeed. Nice furniture, paintings, and so on.
