This is a place to visit if you love style , architecture and all things bueatiful. It's a truley incredible villa filled with stunning pieces of furniture all from the 1930s . No expense was spared when the architects designed it . It's a must see while in Milan. The doors alone took my attention for ages as did the... More

This is a great hidden gem in Milan...a great escape from the rest of the city with an interesting history. I have been here twice, once last February to tour the house, and just last weekend to see a special exhibition of paper dresses (Moda di Carta). Worth a visit if you are in Milan.

This house is in a quiet oasis of its own in the middle of Milan I loved its privacy, set amongst the trees and thought the swimming pool was perfectly located to the front. The design and proportion of the house is charming. I loved the doors, the height of the ceilings, the separate sleeping quarters for the family, the... More

The villa is very nice, it has an amazing small garden and a huge house with nice design. It is easy to connect to this time and to imagine yourself living in this place.

I've learned to look out for secret gardens in Milan - this city can be very coy, it likes to hide private parks and unexpected gardens behind stone façades and between busy streets. Villa Necchi is nestled in one of these unexpected green spaces - you come from traffic and noise and - ah. Of course the tour is interesting... More

I had a wonderful guided tour (that time in Italian). Great place to visit and immerse into Modern Chic and overwhelming work of the most popular interior designers and architects of the epoch. A first aristocratic house in Milan that had swimming pool at the time.

Great find. Interesting architectural villa inside the city. A survivor from the 20th century. Many unique features. Art Deco. Wonderful use of wood. Small but attractive grounds. Tour takes about an hour and we had a very interesting English speaking guide.

Definitely worth the visit as not only the building is impressive but also the area of the city, just outside the city centre, is extremely interesting from the architectural point of view. The villa is a superb example of Italian style of the thirties and large part of the original furniture are there, the proportions of the spaces are impressive... More

An elegant villa in Moderne style, built in the 1930s with every creature comfort, including Italy's first outdoor heated swimming pool, and enough central heating to satisfy 21st century tastes. The architect included ingenious details - huge sliding doors that could make the house open plan or close it off into more intimate spaces, luxurious bathrooms lined in marble or... More
