Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A flair mixed of southern and Asian. A nice atmosphere with Italian serenity in Chinatown of Milano. A trip to this neighborhood is really worthwhile. Line 14 stops directly in Chinatown. We ate very good and cheap Chinese here. The staff could not speak English, but the order arrived anyway. A great atmosphere on the streets. It's all happening outside. We spent a great evening here. We can absolutely recommend this as a "must."

Milan Chinatown is actually a street, and the Shanghai Xiao Long Bao there tastes very authentic. It's very fresh and I don't feel the need to drink a lot of water afterwards. Many people queued up to eat the Internet-famous Northeastern Dumplings. There are various flavors, but it’s just a small store. There are no seats and you can only eat standing up. The taste is very average.
There are many skewers restaurants nearby, so it’s good to eat while grilling. There are also various drinks including milk tea.
It seems that many larger restaurants are on vacation in July and are not open. It's a pity.

A very pleasant street, pedestrianized and full of places to drink and eat, which we really appreciate in Milan. It is worth experiencing both day and night, especially in autumn and spring. it is also close to various points of interest such as the Sempione Park, the Arco della Pace, Isola and the Corso Garibaldi area. The advice is not to stop at the main street but to also explore the side streets, which are also full of both Chinese restaurants (often more authentic than the more prominent ones) and other types of activities (for example there is a well-stocked shop of used books in via Paolo Lomazzo as well as the premises in via Cesare Cesariano).
It remains said that since it is a street, and not a monument, it must be frequented on several occasions to grasp its essence.

Quite literally a Chinatown within Milan, most of the shops or the people you will meet here is Chinese (or at least has chinese origins, the so-called "second generation"), the place is filled with cheap small shops and restaurants.
The whole road is covered with a lot of green spots and is very pretty to see while strolling.

A pedestrian Street, full of chinese venues and some italian bar (Cantine Isola is a very good wine bar)

A good place for a stroll, after sunset people floods in for "aperitivi" o for a fine dinner.
A lot of "takeaway" food is served also.

Via Paolo Sarpi is the axis of the Milanese Chinatown showing a corner of China maintained and clean in Milan. The shops are all Chinese and the walk is assured by limited road circulation to residents. Many are the places to find Chinese and Asian specialties; Restaurants offer a great selection of traditional Chinese menu: from canonese to Sichuan. Could not resist! The highly recommend!

Finally pedestrian, you can walk along the street smelling chinese food, earing chinese spoken by people around and entering in small shops where you can buy local food (like chinese pak-choi cabbage) and fashion stuff, some cute, some just the copy of the copy.
It is nice indeed to have a walk here and stop at some restaurant to get some chinese dim sum or a soup, or just a bowl of noodles and then continue shopping.
There are also some very old italian shops still resisting, but mainly this is Milan chinese area with very nice spots (buildings are beautiful) and some asking a strong renewal (like very small streets close to the main road).
Really cute at sunset.

One of the most famous streets of Milan, not for fashion or art, but Via Paolo Sarpi in recent years it has become a sort of ghetto street, a so called ''Chinatown'' where all stores along it in the area belong to Chinese owners, now become something like ethnic minority of Milan. The street itself is not very interesting and the numerous Chinese shops there is nothing interesting to see, perhaps it seem to be in Beijing than in Milan.

We were told by another traveller tat there were some quaint shops and attractions here. Ok there were Chines lanterns as street lights but little else, except small tacky shops which were expensive for what they sold. Don't waste your time
