Absolutely brilliant personal tour with Giacomo today. Easy to arrange and cover payment, great communication before the tour and then we met up on time at the right spot. There was no communication boundary at all, Giacomo was friendly and personable. Giacomo and I spent three packed hours together touring the best spots in Milan including the Sforza Castle, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Duomo and more. Along the way, interesting sights were pointed out that I would otherwise have completely missed. We did not stop for lunch or snacks, but the best restaurants and little grocery spots were pointed out including the gelato at Ciacco and the cheese at Peck. I had an absolutely fantastic time and rate this as five stars.

My husband and I have recently visited Milan. We found this tour through Trip Advisor. We read the reviews and arranged to meet Giacomo in front of the building where The Last Supper is located though email. We prepaid for the tour and tickets ahead of time. Very easy process. All through email and text. The tour especially appealed to us because my husband and I wanted a less formal tour and wanted just us and a guide. We both have arthritic knees and walk at a very slow pace. Giacomo was quite receptive to our needs and would he would take the time to find places for us to sit. We even stopped for a sandwich along the way since we hadn’t had time to have something to eat prior to the tour. We waited too long to purchase tickets ourselves so we looked for someone who would get the tickets for us and he did. If you plan on going, be sure to keep this in mind. Giacomo had the tickets in hand when we met and gave us detailed information on what to expect with the security and our visit. Visiting such places are quite complicated and time consuming just to get in. No wait to get in. We were quite impressed with Giacomo’s knowledge and history of The Last Supper. He had his iPad with him and would give us background historical information through pictures of what we were seeing. We were not aware of the history of the restoration which took many years. He also answered many of our questions. He also gave us an extensive tour of The Duomo inside and out. No wait in line. He had our tickets ahead of time. Right through. He gave us quite detailed information about the history of The Duomo. My husband and are grateful that we were able to connect with Giacomo. We now have lifelong memories of our visit to Milan. We hope to meet him again when we return to Milan to see other places that we did not have the time to see. We also highly recommend meeting and using Giacomo’s services.

We had limited time in Milan and had not reserved tickets (for The Last Supper and Duomo) in advance. Giacomo was booked, but he arranged for a colleague to give us a four-hour tour with fast track entry to the Duomo (including the roof) and a timed entry to The Last Supper. Emanuela provided interesting information on Milan as we walked through the city and was able to answer all of our questions. She pointed out details on the Duomo roof, and inside the Duomo, which we would have missed had we not had a guide. Well worth the money!
