The eye sees spaces that aren't there thanks to Bramante's outstanding planning and fresco. The church is open for visitors thanks to a volunteer organization at specific times only. Check opening times beforehand because it's well worth a visit.

It's free to visit this almost always open church and the trompe l'oeil really is worth the visit. 100 meters from the Duomo.

Small church in the historic center. Very pretty and it has a "false apse" painted so that it looks deeper than what it actually is.
