Great half day Milan tour

Sara is a great guide. We have hired many guides in many locations around the world. Sara is best of all. We visited Berara, LaScala, etc..

Unsatisfactory Experience!

In June we booked a 4 hour tour with Sara Cerri's company, Walking Tour Milan, for 6 people to tour Milan on October 8,2023. Rick Steves' book and Trip Advisor reviews had suggested her as reliable and wonderful guide. The tour guide, Victor was fabulous and the walking tour went well. The issue was that we had planned to visit The Last Supper as part of our tour. We expected to hear from Sara shortly after booking the tour about The Last Supper tickets. In fact her email sent on June 9 confirmed our E200 deposit for the 4 hour tour, 10am to 2pm, and said that she would let me know about the Last Supper tickets as soon as they went on sale. This was because at that point we would pay her E180 for the 6 tickets. We had to follow up with her in September. At that point she said she could only get 6:30 pm admissions, while our tour was in the morning. We had other plans for that evening which we had to cancel. She took our names and said we could pick up the tickets at the ticket office by presenting our passports. She said our guide would not be accompanying us but would tell us all about the Last Supper during the tour in the morning. We had to get ourselves over to the church for the Last Supper and when we arrived the ticket office personnel couldn't find our tickets and kept asking for a voucher. We had not been given one and no guide was with us. They finally located our tickets. That was bad enough, but then I realized that Sara charged us E30 per ticket and the tickets we got were clearly marked E15 each. I don't mind paying more than the listed ticket price when a guide is accompanying us but this was clearly not the case.

We have asked for a refund and have not heard back. We feel that she forgot to buy the tickets. They went on sale, July 1 for Oct. dates and when we realized that we hadn't heard anything from her by September I emailed her and she did not respond back for 5 days. I contacted her again and she finally responded with the bad news that we would need to go at 6:30 PM that Sunday night.

There were many private tours that included the Last Supper and our experience with her company was vey unsatisfactory. I do not recommend her company.

Wonderful city, wonderful guide….

Sara Cerri is an art history expert and knows Milan very, very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our several hours with her, and came away with great information about the sites and Milan generally. She is very helpful and a joy to be with, and we are more than happy to give her our highest recommendation.

Marco, WOW!!!

We booked a English free tour with a certified guide of CITYWALKERS and we highly recommend it.
Our guide (“Sergeant” Marco) is full of knowledge and enthusiasm about Milan.
He made us laugh through the whole tour and passy the information in an extremely interesting way.
Excellent tour with an incredible guide.

A much richer experience with Sara as our guide!

On our first trip to Italy we had the wonderful Sara and her team as our guides to historical Milano! Reservations and logistics were simple and we met at our downtown hotel. She spent all the time in the world explaining the beautiful Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, and then the awe-inspiring Chiesa Santa Maria delle Grazie and Leonardo's The Last Supper. She shared her passions and deep knowledge of the arts and architecture to make for an unforgettable experience. Quite simply, we would never have had such a rewarding trip without experiencing her tour!

The best tour yet

Sara is an absolute delight! From the very beginning of the experience, booking a 4 hour tour, I felt I was in expert hands and had all the confidence in her process. I let her know about my interests and she had suggestions in addition to her excellent tour, which she tailored to my interests as we went along. She is interesting, knowledgeable and so much fun to listen to! I wish I could have booked her for more days! Sara is delightful. She made me love Milan, right off the bat and I hope to see her again on a return trip some day.

Sara Cerri is doing it right! Starts with great communication and a clear understanding of what is wanted. Then she coordinated a splendid tour designed for us. Her tour guide, another Sara, was just great. Our tour started at Sforza Castello, which included Michaelangelo's pieta (small fee), then on to Leonardo's Vineyard (don't miss!) , then The Last Supper, then Duomo.

Duomo was a challenge because of a huge concert in the piazza, but Sara got us through just fine. She even escorted us to our covid test location near Duomo to be sure we found it. (Required to travel back to US next day.

If you are seeking a professional, competent, tour company for Milan, look no further!

A wonderful tour in Milan

Laura was able to customise a wonderful tour for us at short notice. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of Italian arts and sciences with a wonderful way of telling the stories behind the scenes. We can't recommend this type highly enough. Wonderful!

Sara Cerri is a licensed guide recommended through Rick Steves. Sara gave us a marvelous walking tour of Milan including the Duomo, Last Supper and Michelangelo's Pietra. Her insight into the history of Milan, the works of Leonardo (especially the Last Supper), made our visit very special. Sara has studied Leonardo and was able to share with us what is believed to be his thoughts behind the creation of the piece. While I have viewed the painting for years, I gained a whole new perspective of the piece. In previous years, I have seen Michelangelo’s other Pietras but this one was more powerful for me. Sara explained where Michelangelo was in his life when he decided to create this piece and it really helped me appreciate the sculpture much more! I only wish I had more days to spend with her exploring this lovely city!!
