So far, I've had quite a nice image of Italian clubbing but the last night out at 'Casa della Musica' just killed it. First of all, I kindly asked the bouncer if he was fine with me keeping my jacket. As a matter of 'security', he said, the 'club' requires its guests to hand in their jackets in the wardrobe. A few seconds later, I understood why they make up such 'stupid' rules; they charge you 5 euro for it (undoubtedly their most profitable service). When I asked the staff to put two jackets on a single hanger, they refused. Another 15 euros needed to be paid for aperitivo and cocktails. Once paid, however, they offer you cold and tasteless noodles and some cheap-looking sausage. Also, when claiming my cocktail, I was asked another 10 euros (which I refused to pay) in the pretext that the 'open bar' opened at 11PM only. In general, staff is unprofessional and kind of mocking the clubbers (especially foreigners).
