So far, I've had quite a nice image of Italian clubbing but the last night out at 'Casa della Musica' just killed it. First of all, I kindly asked the bouncer if he was fine with me keeping my jacket. As a matter of 'security', he said, the 'club' requires its guests to hand in their jackets in the wardrobe. A few seconds later, I understood why they make up such 'stupid' rules; they charge you 5 euro for it (undoubtedly their most profitable service). When I asked the staff to put two jackets on a single hanger, they refused. Another 15 euros needed to be paid for aperitivo and cocktails. Once paid, however, they offer you cold and tasteless noodles and some cheap-looking sausage. Also, when claiming my cocktail, I was asked another 10 euros (which I refused to pay) in the pretext that the 'open bar' opened at 11PM only. In general, staff is unprofessional and kind of mocking the clubbers (especially foreigners). Furthermore, when almost empty (as it was the case on that Saturday night) the club makes you feel like you ended up in a dirty, money-laundering establishment
