We sat and drew them and loved the experience. They are simple towers and you do get a crick in your neck from looking up, but, have an ice cream from the many excellent gelaterie.

We were exploring the back streets of Pavia, looking for the university, when we came across the towers. They look great and each one is a different design. They symbolise power. Well worth a look.

This is one of the towers which Pavia is known with, around Pavia you will see many of them but in different height, it is a symbol of power, the powerful/wealthy family is the one who has a high tower.
