Tranquil public garden close to Porto Nuova station

Giardino Sambuy is situated between Torino Porta Nuova station and Via Roma. It is a tranquil public garden with a small pond, plenty of seats and a perfect place to relax. I visited in July 2020 just after Covid-19 restrictions were relaxed and there was hardly anyone around.

...a delightful garden...

.. with a central fountain and beautiful important old trees make up the center of piazza Carlo Felice, at the mouth of via Roma and across the street from Porta Nuova, the central and most important train station in Turin.. ..and get framed by the elegant old buildings that flank the piazza.. a place to rest on comfortable old park benches and watch passers-by...
