The Nature Park is Puez-Geisler is of the most beautiful sites in the Dolomites. There are lots of trekking paths for every kind of physical condition and you can really get close to the amazing mountains without long walks. Animals, rare flowers and plants make the park not just attractive for geologists but for everyone loving the nature.

A very nice park and a good way to shake off the fifteen hours of travel time from washington state in the usa. The area looks remarkably like the cascades in washington state so we were less wowed than others, but really very pretty!

Our day was all clear blue skies as we drove this area, quite breath takeing and the only thing missing was the snow.....having said that perhaps snow would have taken more away than it added. This is a must when in the area.

This was a fantastic detour from the city. I spent a few hours hiking (moderate difficulty) broken up by a great meal and cold beer at Geisler Alm situated at the base of the Dolomite Mountains. I even saw a herd of cows hiking the trail on their walk between pastures. One tip...make sure to grab a map or ask... More

A must go, see & do. Especially if you like to hike, of course. You can do several tracks and I'm quite sure that each track will give you a wow-feeling! So if you can, you should do an overnight stay (at least one night) in one of the rifugios.

Valley "Val de Funes' is beautiful - with a perfect view of the Geisler Group. Very few tourists, many routes for trekking, mountain huts for refreshment. Local people are pleasant and friendly.

Walking to the flats was briliant. Hiking the hills was beautiful. Scrambling the slopes was interesting. Climbing the mountain was scary :) didn't quite make the peak I was after though, too dodgy.
