I love visiting churches and this one was unique because of the design of its front façade. It was also lovely inside and there seemed to be no restriction against flash photography.

This a small cathedral, however, inside, there's a lot of precious items, paints, relics, altars, and so on. The ceiling is beautifully paint as a truly Italian church.

Like many churches and cathedrals across Europe it is a lovely place to visit, well set up for tourists but not too busy. Some interesting history and well worth a visit if you are passing.

.. but a remarkable floor with an ancient mosaic very well preserved. Few piece of paintings. Better externally, especially the big central door, "Porta della Misericordia".
