And also because of its shape - with a crenellated top and a corner tower it resembles a fortress. It was instead a family palace, of the powerful Zabarella family of Padua. Built in the... More

It's currently devoted to the exhibition of Giuseppe De Nittis, with masterpieces by this painter came from all over the world. Obviously, my attention was mainly devoted to the exhibition: it's very well organized, didactic without being unnecessarily erudite; I was very... More

I’ve been in Padua twice before and I was looking forward to seeing this art museum on this visit. I was on their web site (in Italian only, used Google to translate) and didn’t see any information that it was closed. When I got there (on a Friday, NOT a Monday, when most museums are closed) I walked up and... More

A great art exhibition! More than 100 works about "Simbolismo" and famous painters like Klimt, Previati, Segantini, Boccioni and many others. The exhibition is located in Palazzo Zabarella, an historical building in the heart of Padova..so nice! It's a very good reason to spend a weekend in Padova, a very pretty town! Go see it, it's a great experience..
