Deluxe is definitely the right description for this tour. It included everything we wanted to see in one 4 1/2 hour day, and them a museum pass we used for the next day. Antonio is the very definition of a professional tour guide.

8 years ago, when I stopped guiding in japanese to try a new adventure on my own , my best friend Aldo ( travel agent )distractedly and not giving importance ( he was doing other things ) suggested me to call the tour "Deluxe ". He said : " The name will attract people of good level ",then it will be up to you to deserve this binding definition . Thank you for confirming that it is first-class as I wanted it to be !

Antonio Barbini provided not just a tour of the city, but an epic day filled with hidden treasures bringing the definition of deluxe to a whole new level. We saw more in a day than we could have in several days had we been on our own. If we could, we would give 100 stars!

Antonio was amazing. He made our first experience in Venice wonderful and informative. He answered every question and imparted his vast knowledge in a fun way. He got to know each of us a little so that he could focus on the things that we had individual interest in. That way we spent more time in the places we would get the most out of. His pace was good and he was very easy to understand. I think having a local guide offered us the best experience we could have had. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone going to Venice.

Antonio is personable, knowledgable and just fun. We learned and enjoyed our tour. Expensive but worth it the dollars. One comment, hope Antonio drops the cigarillos for his health and to stop subjecting his customers to second hand smoke. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this tour.

Dear client, for me your review ,is a "six stars "review because it offers some constructive criticism. I am addected to smoking and I hope one day I'll find the strenght to quit . I should not smoke when I am with the customers ( although it is in the open air ) and I apologize . I also take the opportunity to urge the future visitors to let me know ,when we are together, if that bothers them . One thing you wrote I do not agree about : " the tour is expensive"... in fact it is not ....ha,ha ,ha. Thank you for your honesty,sincerity and generosity !

Antonio our tour guide loves his city and has a wealth of information to impart. As a true Venetian who has lived on the island since he was born his historical and local knowledge was exceptional. We paid for the smaller group tour as we only had a few days in Venice and wanted to experience as much as we could in that time. The tour was extensive, and presented by Antonio in a warm and often humorous way. In depth historical, and cultural information was imparted. But for me it was the societal anecdotes that connected you with the challenges and triumphs of Venetians which brought history to life. The information we gained helped us plan the rest of our trip, plus Antonio’s advice and anecdotes were incredibly useful. This tour is a must do.

Tripadvisor really needs an extra star to rate the tour which I have just had the privilege of experiencing. Antonio exudes the love that he obviously has for his home city...But he also has the gift of transmitting that depth of adoration to those who will listen.
Antonio is an erudite man who ,with wit and charm, is a fountain of knowledge from which one is lucky to drink.
If you are contemplating this tour... Don't hesitate... it's a unique experience.

This is my maltese friend ,I am pretty sure of that .He was the only client the day we did the tour and so we got to know each other quickly and spoke a lot even of private affairs . I met ,on that occasion, a very intelligent man ,cultered and humorous ...one of those persons that you do not forget. THANK YOU !!!!

From the beginning I ponderd what would be the perfect number of participants for the kind of tour I had in mind. the decision was not easy wheighing my economic convenience and the exclusiveness that should distinguish it from the other competitors. This trip was amazing!! Antonio was fantastic and really made the day enjoyable! We saw so many sites and had so much fun! His passion for giving in depth tours of the wonders of Venice are simply the best!! It was about a 4 1/2 hour tour but the time went so fast! We highly recommend taking this tour with Antonio Barbini! The Best!!

I can only surmise that famous actors and stars must be very proud of the admiration of their fans and about the writings that the latter dedicate to them. Those celebrities do not have the time yet to read and reply to millions of supporters .Instead I am lucky because I can take care of every single client and express my gratitude, as I am doing now with you, and I do not want it to change ...it is so pleasant !

We have three people. We are going to Venice on 11/28 by train from Florence. The train arrives at 12:00. Is it possible to do the walking tour on 11/28 after our arrival? How many hours is the walking tour?
If not, we want to book the tour on 11/29.
