You could tell Nico really enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love of Venice with us. At our request via email he arranged for a private boat tour using a water taxi driver and arranged for chilled prosecco on board for us. He also helped with a restaurant reservation and followed up to ensure we had a great meal. We would highly recommend Nico and would use him for another tour on our next visit.

We had one day in Venice to tour the city. My husband and I prefer condensed private tours that give short summaries of many things. Our typical maximum tour allowance is 1.5 to 2 hours maximum.
Nico completely listened to my expectations and fully executed a wonderful tour experience that was our best city tour during our 14 day stay in Italy. Our wish was to see Doges Palace and then relevant city highlights. During our 2.5 hour walking tour, we were completely engaged in Nico’s knowledge and the time flew by. Nico had so many interesting and off the beaten path tidbits that were so interesting.
If you are going to Venice, Nico as a tour guide is a must. His tour is completely personalized and he will tour whatever you want to see. We travel extensively and have had more city tours then I can count. Nico was certainly one of the best. He comes with my highest recommendation.

We had an amazing boat trip in Venice and also we reached Torcello Island. We discussed options with Nico before agreeing on a trip. Nico has spectacular local knowledge and impeccable people skill. Our trip was fantastic and Nico made it a very special memorable for our family.

We met Nico on the Giocomo Square side of the Rialto Bridge, where Venice began. Nico explained the history of Venice, and began the food tour with street food right there in Giocomo square. Nico was interesting and fun. He took us to four more locations throughout Venice gave a history walking tour with different foods in those for additional locations. The tour was so interesting and Nico made the afternoon so much fun. We were so full, we couldn't eat another bite. I would recommend Nico regardless the size of your group. An afternoon well spent !

Our tour with Nico was the highlight of Italian holiday. Nico helped us discover Venice and fall in love with her.
A family with a teenager and a 3 year old child, it is not always easy to find a tour option to meet everyone’s interests. Nico customised the day for us and was so accommodating and flexible. We felt very well looked after and had an unforgettable experience. Nico arranged all museum and experience tickets and all transport. It was stress free and beautiful.

Our family of five (two parents and three teens) had a wonderful 2.5-hour tour of Venice with Nico in June 2023. This was an A++ tour, and we were grateful to get the opportunity to see Venice as a small group with someone so knowledgeable. Nico was a great communicator over email before we arrived in Venice. He met us on time at our hotel and took us away from the crowded, touristy areas to quieter areas where real Venetians live. Nico was energetic and engaging, and delivered information at a level that kept our kids' attention (he speaks perfect English). He shared his experience growing up in Venice, and what life is like for people living there today. He also was full of information about the history of Venice and what makes it so special. We walked around for half the tour, then he took us on a water taxi tour. During the water taxi tour, he gave even more information about how the buildings of Venice were built and maintained, and showed us areas we would not have seen on our own. He tailored the trip to meet our interests and answered all of our questions. He also recommended restaurants for us to enjoy great meals where locals go, and took some special, keeper photos of our family along the way. Touring with Nico really enriched our experience of Venice, and only made us want to go back for more time.

My family did two private tours with Nico. One was a tour of Venice and the other Murano/Burano islands. Nico did an great job catering our tours to my younger kids (ages 7 and 10), as well as my older parents. He was very knowledgeable of the city of Venice and the surrounding islands. Nico is definitely a people person and our family felt very comfortable with him from beginning to end. I highly recommend that you book any tour with Nico! He will not disappoint!
