With at least 4 cruise ships docked i Venice, the main areas were crowded so it was a treat to be in Malamocco with hardly anyone around. As other reviewers have said, there is very little to do or see. We just enjoying the peace...More

My husband and I visited this place as we were told it was very quiet, with no tourists. Staying in Venice Lido, we took a bus to Malamocco to take a look around. There is a very pretty tree lined walk along the shoreline and...More

the beach in Malamoco is quiet and nice, excellent for long walks/runs on the damm and swimming. from Malamoco it's easy (1.5 E and 15 mins) to take the bus to the Lido beach or the boat terminal to go to Venice.

Very nice and well preserved village of fishermen. Go there at the sunset and have a walk on the Main Street and get a spritz!

We have been happily surprised by Malamocco. The first impression is of a village in the middle of nowhere in the Lido di Venezia island. But then, as you walk around, you discover an authentic venetian island village, with a renaissance underway. If you are...More
