Interesting peek in the past

Really enjoyed the place and it provided me with a really nice peek into the past. The 1st and 2nd floor provide you an outstanding view over Grand Canale!

beautiful art, a great way to peek into a Venetian palazzo. Wonderful views from the balcony over the Grand Canal.

Upon visiting the museum in the morning, we learned we should take advantage of it being a special night where admission was only 2 euros after 7 pm. So that's what we did and we were extremely thankful to the helpful woman who explained that when we were offering to pay full price to see it earlier. The marble courtyard... More

Had always wanted to see this famous building and its exhibits. But: - Hard to find - Expensive admission - Frequent closure of exhibits (whole 2nd floor was closed the day we were there) Just enjoy the sweeping balcony views over the Grand Canal. Otherwise not worth it.

Arrived 9 am. 25.50euro for 3. Entrance to ceramic warehouse (main attraction) floor was wet. Asked for another entrance. Were instructed to go upstairs. Pre Renaissance Religious art same as others. Went back down 3 flights to try ceramic room again, Locked out! NEVER SAW MAIN IMPORTANT EXHIBIT of ceramics. Not worth (opinion of ART magma cum laude) admission. No... More

First Sunday of the month it is free - they still issue a ticket! Well worth it for the art on display and for the building itself. I found an amazing wooden staircase.

Lovely view of the Grand Canal, interesting sculptures and paintings BUT 1. Entrance hard to find 2. Billboard said concessions available (€8.50 down to €4.25 for elderly parent with us) but receptionist denied any available 3. Receptionist said lift was working but it wouldn't work to go down 4. Full price payable - but second floor (of two) shut! 5.... More

One of the loveliest Grand Canal palazzos, it has some wonderful Canal views from the balconies. The art collection is uninspiring and poorly curated, so not quite worth the steep admission. Skip it if your time in Venice is limited.

We visited the first afternoon we were in Venice as the sun set a golden glow on the canal. We loved the marble on the floors, the art work, and the lovely views of the canal.

It isn't a big museum, but it is a lovely building with nice views of the canal and a nice selection of art. Pretty quiet and not a lot of people but we also went when it opened.
