This decorated and elegant Scuola is to be seen. Even better if there is a concert as you can really enjoy the building and appreciate its beauty with time.

A very beautiful scuola on a quiet little side street, beautifully maintained. A few very nice art pieces inside, especially the sculpture behind the altar. I have seen many concerts and operas in this venue, and the acoustics are superb!

Although off the traditional San Marco/Rialto tourist thoroughfare this beautiful Scuola and accompanying church dedicated to San Giovanni is the perfect excuse to strike off the beaten track. It is heavily adorned with old masters and Tintoretto's 'Crucifixion'...More
