Forget the made in China shot glasses and refrigerator magnets if you want an authentic souvenir this is the place to come and make your purchase. The mask are authentic and 100% Venetian. You can see the women painting and making them in the shop....More

This shop counters much of the unauthentic mask shops in Venice. This is the real thing. the paper mache masks are made here and painted here by a team of craftspeople. Very approachable genuine craftsman owner.

Stopping in every few days during a 10-day visit to Venice. Each time was a discovery, and the artists and owners were lovely. There are beautiful masks in Venice, but Papier Mache is magical and genuine Venice at its best.
