sitting outside in front of a bar (if you are lucky and get a free table), drink your Spritz or great red wine and watch people passing by.

Campo Santa Margherita is not so famous as Saint Mark's Square, but it's beautiful in the way that is not so crowded and you can feel the real vibe of the city outside the touristic area. There are also some nice and coloured buildings around...More

Scenery was fantastic, ocean, sand, hills, trees and gardens, and the magnificent old hotels from days gone by. Many of these hotels have been well maintained and still retain the magnificent gardens of years gone by. Walking district in between restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and...More

Well, if you want to have fun and have a resonable price for a drink this is the right place for it. Just got to know this place because some friends took me there and I was very well impressed with the atmosphere. Cool.

This huge rambling space feels like three piazzas that have grown into one, perhaps it was not all one open area in the past as it has at least three old well heads. There are also plenty of benches, a few shady trees, clusters of...More

A large square in a quiet part of the city. You'll may even meet more locals than tourists, at least in the winter season. Many small bars, shops, cafeterias etc.

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
