After spending time sitting in the square drinking coffee in the sunshine, we walked across the small bridge in Campo San Cassian to this fabulous shop (we have admired it times before), this delightful shop is just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge area of the city. The front windows are now very different to the ones shown on other reviews,, now full with fabulous watercolour paintings. The lady owner was very helpful, proudly showing us many watercolours painted by her husband, difficult as it was we purchased two which will go alongside our collection of other scenes in Venice

If you are going to buy a mask in Venice - get one from a true artist. The ones on stalls that are cheap are plastic rubbish imported from USA that are ruining the traditional market. Walked past this place, then spent all day the next day trying to find it again. The masks are original and unique. Very good service. Thank you.

Very kind gentleman that makes the paper mache AND handpaints the masks himself. BUT the reason this place is the best and I am taking the time to review it, it's the only place I have found in Venice where you can buy the plain mask and take it with you. They are 5 euros each. You can't beat that. I live outside of Baton Rouge and do Mardi Gras every year- it's hard to find cheap plastic masks that cheap in Louisiana, much less ones of this quality. Do yourself a favor and shop here.

Lovely find for souvenirs for an entire family. I was most pleased to find a mask shop where the artist sat inside decorating masks as we browsed. These are not the most amazing masks (those would cost hundreds of Euros), but they are really all quite beautiful. I would definitely come back next time I visit Venice.
