Decided spontaneously to drop by Casa Andrich and was not disappointed. Spent 3 hours with Paulo Andrich, the nephew of Lucio Andrich and learned about his uncles art works, Venetian art and the history of Torcello. Waited at the gate for ages to be let in. There is an embankment at the edge of the owners garden with a view across the lagoon, but none of the sights pictured on the poster by the track to the Casa Andrich are visible. I was given a very cursory description and left to my own devices to leave... More

We decided to pay the few euro for a tour of this beautiful place as we were strolling through torcello. The owner was very kind, friendly, and a treat to talk with. He give us a rundown on the history of the place and the land. We were glad we stopped in. Bellisima! Grazie!
