The Murano glassmasters' exhibit is fascinating - it's only 5 euro, and it's not a large exhibit, but what is there is worth stopping in to see. The detail on these glass pieces is amazing. There is also another free exhibit in the downstairs.

Hidden in a hospital building in Venice, this museum has an amazing collection of old medical textbooks and instruments. A must-see for anyone in the medical field. The room is beautiful, with ornate artwork especially on the ceiling

Check this place out while visiting Venice. They often hold concerts, plays, ballets, etc here and they ar well worth checking out - if they fit into your itinerary!

Although I didn't entered the museum itself (wich is placed inside the hospital building, a beautifull one with great arhitecture), I went right next to the entrance from where you can see quite well the amazing decorated ceiling and the room itself.

This glorious building is home to a small medical museum - which is logically next door to the hospital. The implements and drawings on display are fascinating, though it's a shame that the labels are only in Italian. Regulars to such collections will recognise many...More
