About
I'm a creative woman inside and outside the kitchen. My passion for cooking started when I was 6 years old. I was preparing by myself surprise dinners for my parents while they were at work. After many years this passion never stopped. I consider cooking for someone a way to give that person part of my love and now I'm going to share with you that love.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A friend treated me for my birthday to a homemade pasta lesson. What an experience!
Valli is knowledgeable, an amazingly teacher of the art of pasta making. Once more, she prepares a dinner using the pasta you've made during her class! if you want to discover pasta and enjoy an amazing evening, Valli is a must stop when you visit Verona.

Amazing evening last night at Valli and Dave’s! The class was so informative - Valli taught us loads of techniques and helped us to understand how to ‘listen’ to the pasta! The dining experience afterwards felt so friendly and personal, and the food was delicious, of course!
Thanks for a lovely evening!

Highly recommend. Valli and Davide were excellent hosts and we learnt how to make pasta confidently firsthand. Just need to get our own pasta machine now!

We were the unfortunate winners of a delayed train which resulted in us being 50 minutes late to this 3 hour activity. We were refused to join the class as the host felt that we would disrupt the class. We were quite disappointed by this. We understand the inconvenience, but felt that we could have been accommodated in some way or another. Perhaps just joining for dessert, a glass of wine or a take away. We paid full price for an experience we never had.

When we left our cooking class, my friend and I both agreed it was the best experience of our entire trip to Italy. Valentina is an excellent teacher and a fun host. Her sweetheart, Davida, was her helper for the evening and we enjoyed both of them so very much! She has instilled in me a desire to put more effort into my cooking, which says a lot!! I highly recommend this experience. :-) Robyn and Sharon

Dear Robyn and Sharon, thank you so much for your lovely words, they left us speechless. Robyn, reading that I've instilled in you the desire to create in the kitchen again, it's something that fills my heart. Can't wait to see your creations and if you need some new positive injections just write me. Sharon, we truly loved the deep conversations full of hope that we had together. We hope to see both of you again soon. Vallì & Davide

A great evening, such fun and can’t wait to get home and try out our new skills. We have many ideas for all different types of pasta and tips on what to do if things go wrong. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic experience; our evening with Vallì ( and Dave :-) ) was an absolute highlight of our trip to Verona. Our 8 year old grandson had a wonderful time making , and eating , the pasta and Vallì was so kind letting him be so involved with all the activities. We all highly recommend this wonderful activity and cherish the opportunity to have spent time with this couple learning so much about pasta, and their family.

We came for a tiramisú lesson and left with so much more! Vallí is not only a superstar in the kitchen, she and her partner Dave are also wonderful human beings! Their authenticity elevates the cooking class to a whole other level; by the time we sat down to enjoy the fruit of our hard work, we felt like we were doing so with friends! This felt very different from classes we've taken at bigger cooking schools in other cities--much more personal and intimate. Vallí genuinely cares about sharing her passion for food and her culture, and she is very generous with her time, knowledge, and attention to detail! We'd love to be back someday for her other cooking classes, but in the meantime, we highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn how to make pasta or tiramisú, or simply to learn more about Italian culture or connect with locals through food. Do it! Any reason is a good reason!

This was such a great experience. Val was a patient, kind and welcoming teacher. We had a 16 year old and 10 year old and she made sure they were involved and following. She has a great sense of humor and truly seems to enjoy what she does. The lesson was easy to follow, engaging and fun. The food and wine were both really good. A highlight was when her partner arrived to help clean up, serve and entertain us. Val and Dave made us feel incredibly welcomed. We had such a great time and a wonderful experience. Definitely worth it!

hello,
we are 4 cousins coming to verona the end of april. We are interested in a private cooking class, on May 1. We would like to learn how to make risotto amarone and a tradition Veronese dessert.
Thank you,
Silvana

Hi Galia, thank you so much for your message. I would be really happy to host you and your family but unfortunately today I'm out of town. How many days are you staying in Verona? Can we arrange another date? Best. Vallì
