We visited in February but because these are typical of the period, it's mostly trees and hedges with sculptures. It was sunny and cool. Climbed the tower to the upper gardens for a wonderful view of Verona. Worth a visit.

Lovely garden in quiet setting with formal hedges, statues and cyprus trees creating a very relaxed atmosphere. Upper levels give good views of Verona

Our day started at the Roman Theater and then we walked to the Guisti Garden. This was our day for the "road less traveled" sights and they did not disappoint. This is located across the Roman bridge north of the center of old town. The garden is peaceful, elegant, and allowed for an unhurried day to stroll the gardens. We... More

Visited this garden on New Year's Day with the Verona card and it was very romantic ( ladies were given a cream rose ! ) I loved the layout of this garden with the trees and statues and it looked good in winter with no need for flowers . You can climb up to get good views of the city.

We are so glad we took the time to visit this beautifully laid out Roman Garden in Verona. After Opera in the Arena this was our second most popular place. The gardens have statues throughout and is on server all levels affording lovely views of the city of Verona.

This is by far the best kept secret in the heart of Verona, the Giardino Giusti, a magnificent post Renaissance, walled garden, complete with grottoes, grotesque sculptures, and a monstrous snarling bridge, lemon groves, fountains, and box hedge mazes. It is very beautiful and well tended. You will see striped turtles swimming in one of several plashing fountains. There are... More

Wasnt expecting much from this as I am not really a garden lover, but loved the formality of the garden and the atmosphere. It seemed to to take you away from citylife, not that you need to get away, so a perfect escape for an hour or 2.

An interesting mix of formal and informal gardens. Would not say this is a must-see, but it does get you on the other side of the river and into a green area, if you are getting tired of crowds and marble. If you have small kids you can turn them loose here to wander the mazes.
