Lorella gave us a beautiful 2 hour tour learning the history, art and architecture and the "whys" of Verona that one would not receive just walking around or doing the 'hop on hop off' tours, etc. We got the good "tidbits" of Verona's history and you can feel yourself become part of her vibrant culture! Lorella took us to her... More

Dear Louise, let's go for a "home cooked dinner experience" next time you come to Verona! Since you love cooking and have a very good knowlegde of the italian gastronomy you would love it! More

Lorella was an absolute joy as me and my colleague learned so much about the city of Verona- as it was many years ago and as it is today. You can read guidebooks and take your own self guided tour but there are so many little subtle sings of architecture and history all around and having an expert like Lorella... More

Barry, I love my job because it allows to share my love for Art & beauty with people like you! I like discussing also about social aspects of Verona and modern Italy and it makes me always happy when at the end of my tours visitors feel the need to go back and test my suggestions ! More

I booked two tours with Veronatours in March 2017. I contacted them because I was interested in their Verona in Roman Times tour. They did not have that as a group tour, but offered me the Skip the Line with a small group and then to follow that with a private tour. That suited me very well, so we did... More

Dear Leni, thank you! It does not happen everyday to have a Classics professor on tour and it was such an enriching exchange of information in focusing on Roman history and archeology . Our converstion about Roman epighrapy while reading some inscriptions was a real pleasure! I hope to meet your students in Verona next year! Lorella More

Valeria is a first-class guide with a strong educational background and a real sense of history. She adapted our Verona tour to our interests, and provided a solid sense of Verona's roots, If you want a guide who shows you more than the obvious tourist attractions - call Valeria,

One year ago, in 2015, my family visited Valeria in Verona. That has a nice ring to it! While it has taken me a year to write this review, and it is shameful on my part, it certainly does not a reflection of Valeria's abilities. Thank you for reading this review as Valeria deserves your attention. We stumbled upon Valeria... More

We had a wonderful dinner with the Trussardi family. It was a lovely and homey atmosphere with a nice home cooked meal and great company. We loved the cook book made for us by one of the children and really enjoyed the conversation we had with Cinzia, Valeria, Linda and Sara. Valeria picked us up close to where we were... More

We contacted Veronatours with little notice and they kindly accommodated us. Lorella was so knowledgable and gave us the kind of insight that we would never have managed ourselves. It is a fantastic and worthwhile experience for first-time and experienced visitors to Verona.

My wife and I joined Valeria who was an excellent, engaging guide. She took us on a circular tour which lasted 90 mins and she made Verona come alive. A very high interest level and her ability to relate the city to the past was exemplary. We really enjoyed it.

I booked this trip to Valpollicella the previous day, having wanted to visit the Soave district but finding that no place on the tour was available during my short stay to Verona. I am so glad that I went to the winery in the Valpollicella area, I tasted five excellent wines made there and ended up by ordering a case... More

My daughter and I toured with Lorella in Verona; we felt like a friend was showing us around her beloved city! With her warmth and enthusiasm, we were thoroughly engaged and learned about the history of Verona and the true story behind Romeo and Juliet.
