We stopped in on our self-guided walking tour of Verona. The facade was never finished (the builders ran out of steam). When you step inside you see how medieval churches were painted. We hung out here for awhile watching the close up video of the Pisanello fresco.

This church is a good example of the old saying: You can't judge a book by its cover. The unfinished facade displays mostly brickwork, and no exterior element struck me as especially appealing. But prior research assured me that it would be rewarding to explore the interior. And after looking at all the incredible artwork and decorative details inside, I... More

We went there in last day and absolutely don't have any doubts that it was a great choice. At the entrance after buying tickets please take audioguide in your language. Murals and hand painted ceilings are fantastic, floor made with 3 different colors of marble from 15 century still absolutely stunning. A must go place in Verona !

This is a stunning building, well worth a visit. The exterior isn't as grand as the Cathedral, but the interior is breathtaking. The audio guide (inclusive with ticket price) was incredibly interesting also, probably the most detailed of the four churches. For 6.50 euros you can get a pass which offers access to the four main Churches in Verona, namely;... More

This was one of three churches we visited in Verona; all were of a style unlike what we have seen in Venice, Sienna, and Florence. This one had beautiful frescoes and was well worth a visit.

Like all the Italian churches, it's big and beautiful. The details of the paintings on the inside are gorgeous! Take a moment to absorb the peace and feel light!

Didn't look like much from outside, but interesting. The inside is magnificent. Entry is covered by the Verona Card, which we found to be a good value. We were given an audio tour, which was very helpful. Not the largest church we've visited, but one of the most beautiful and varied. And, we were delighted to be visiting when a... More

This church was absolutely lovely. Its cost €2.50 per person. Staff were friendly. There is audio guide that you can use and it has different languages to suit your need. Very informative. A very peaceful place.

This church was next to our hotel so we had to visit. It is on the Verona card which I recommend, we had very good value from the 48 hour version. there is an audio tour of the building which is lovely inside, and quite different from the other churches in Verona in it's decoration. The painted ceiling is lovely... More

This is a very large church with quite a plain exterior that does not do justice to the wonderful interior. As you walk up the path to the door there is an elevated sarcophagus to the left, very unusual. As you enter the church, after paying a small fee, the first thing to strike you is the size, closely followed... More
