We took the large number of steps to the top which are not suitable for people with mobility issues (I don't know if there is another way to get there). However when reaching the top your effort will be rewarded. There is the most spectacular view of Verona. Definitely bring your camera for this one.

Of cource, it is a very special enjoyment to see the town from the tower, but in Verona it doesn't work: the highest point is not one of the towers but San Pietro mountain. The town dwellings occupy the entire foothill and the narrow road between the houses leads up until the very top where you can see the waving... More

Our tourist guide recommended this place, although he said there is too many steps. We accepted the “chalenge” and decided to see the view from the castel. It is neither far, nor too high to climb. But look at Verona is beautiful. Also, there is a restaurant with the terace where you can drink aperol spritz and enjoy the view.... More

We were lucky enough to be driven to the top to catch the view, both day and night. Nice view of the Roman theater archaeological site on the way down.

This was definitely worth climbing up to as it offers the most spectacular views of Verona with the river snaking round and many spires in the background . Photographers paradise ! Just a lovely area to sit and enjoy the views in all lights .

If you're not used to physical exercise, this climb will bring all the sweat out of you, but it is well worth it. There is a little plateau half the way up on your left that has a bench, where you can sit, take a couple awesome pictures and catch your breath. But don't stop here. When you get on... More

Great view of Verona from the top- 200 plus steps up but it was worth it. The children loved it. Stunning on a clear day.

A long walk up multiple stairs, certainly not suitable for anyone with any mobility issues.Once we reached the top we had superb views across Verona. There is a bar/cafe at the top which is well worth a visit we enjoyed a good coffee.

Quite a climb, but well worth it to enjoy Verona from above. Try and time it so you arrive for the sunset.

This is a must! It takes some effort if you don't like walking up a bunch of stairs, but well worth it. The panoramic views of the whole Verona are fantastic. Great for taking photos. Go for it!
