Even though the place was a little lonely since I visited in the winter, it is such an appealing spot with great vibe. Lots of little shops and restaurants and right by the Arena di Verona, which is one of the most famous spots in...More

It was raining when we visited, but the arched arcades all around the central market square allowed us to stay dry most of the morning. Lots of little stalls and shops, from local produce and flowers to higher end stores. Verona is worth a day...More

Verona is always good for a stop-over - typical touristy but still very italian - did not loose any of the flair in last 25 years of regular visits

Verona is a charming destination for a 4 or 5 day visit. It's easy to walk round and there are plenty of places to eat and drink well.

The historic city center is great for strolling and taking pictures. For eating and drinking you should go into the winding side streets and discover the hidden Tratorias.

San Luca Hotel is very central, 1 minute walk to Piazza Bra. We stayed there 5 nights September 2018, very good. Station is maybe 15 minutes walk. Enjoy Mantua: we visited Mantua by train, Padua also, for a day each.
