Cette rue de Vicenza est à emprunter car vous pouvez observer une succession de palais renaissance qui montre la magnificence de cette ville qui un temps voulait faire concurrence à Venise.
Dommage ceux ci abritent des administrations ou des banques et ne sont pour la plupart pas visitables à l exception du palais thiene mais il faut faire une réservation au moins 7 jours à l avance.

Incantevole via vicentina, laterale di Corso Palladio che conduce verso l'ansa del fiume Bacchiglione. Ricchissima di palazzi meravigliosi, tra cui la ex sede della Banca Popolare di Vicenza (Palazzo Thiene progettato da Palladio) e la sede del Centro di Architettura Palladio (Palazzo Barbaran da Porto).
Leggermente curva, alzando lo sguardo verso l'alto da l'impressione di essere una calle veneziana.
Stupenda!

Contrà Porti, a ridosso del centro, è una zona piena di storia che affascina per i suoi splendidi palazzi. Raccomando una visita guidata per cogliere la bellezza di edifici come Palazzo porto Breganze o Palazzo Thiene. Consiglio una visita di qualità soffermandosi sui dettagli.

Ma mi incanta ogni volta che la percorro e il suo fascino cambia ma non cala nelle diverse fasce del giorno... io l’adoro ancor più la mattina presto... sembra che la sua eleganza prenda voce riempiendo il silenzio di quell’ora.
Palazzo che sembrano concorrere, sempre con eleganza, l’uno con l’altro... dominati, a mio banale parere, da palazzo Thiene...
e se vogliamo leggerla nella storia, ricordiamo che essa prosegue incontra del monte e passando sotto la basilica sfociando in contra santi apostoli.
Consiglio di percorrere tutto assume da ponte pusterla (o meglio ancora dalla chiesa di San Marco) sino a ponte furo... questo tragitto non ha nulla da invidiare a corso Palladio, ANZI!
