Nostalgic citta vechia cita of bari...atmosferic walk through the allies of old town looking for the figures of the past. Nice trattorias with tasteful local dishes and red wine. Oh God! The obvious view of life.

The outside seems like a normal modern city. Once you enter the old city, it is amazing network of the ancient concept of living in Italy, based around a Cathedral. It is just a marvel to walk around, enjoy the local homemade cuisine and catch...More

To step out of the busy chic shopping centre of Bari and into the heart of the Citta Vecchia is like walking across a timeline into the past. Old Bari conserves all the feeling of a timeworn community, albeit without the decadence. The people of...More

We spent hours walking in these narrow streets. I had seen videos of these streets, and was surprised to see the vendors that were in the videos. The houses don't look very comfortable to live in live in, but I am sure it will be...More

The periphery of Bari is a typical Italian city periphery, meaning awful. The new city is modern and matches Milan in night life, food, stores, etc. But the old city is the best thing about Bari, if not all of Puglia. It is a charming...More

The old town is just so quaint and Italian. Loved this place. The narrow streets, street vendors selling their beautiful pasta and little old men riding bikes. One of my favorite places in Italy.

You can happily get lost in the narrow alley ways and literally peep into the residential houses at a very old and traditional culture and lifestyle! The various bars, cafes and restaurants are intermittent with the residents living alongside, above and amongst them. Old men...More

Bari 's old town is full of history. Nice narrow streets. You have to walk and feel the vibe. Be careful with the scooter drives they drive fast and seem to appear out of no where

Beautiful old town to stroll around and lose yourself in. Cute narrow streets decorated with religious altars with grandmas kneading pasta in their doorstep. Perfect place to blend in and experience the real local culture
